Skateboard hardware refers to the various parts and components that make up a skateboard and frequently specifically refer to deck bolts or mounting hardware which are the bolts that affix the trucks to the skateboard deck, holding everything in place. Mounting hardware is available in various sizes, colours, as well as tightening methods e.g. Phillips and Allen or hex key. Hardware can also refer to other skateboarding parts aside from trucks, wheels and decks e.g. rails, bearing, bushings, griptape etc.
